The awards ceremony recognized the achievements of individuals, customers, and partners who are Leading with GRC
PALO ALTO, Calif., May 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — MetricStream, a market leader in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) apps and solutions, hosted its annual GRC Journey Awards ceremony at the MetricStream GRC Summit 2016, which was held on the evening of April 26, 2016 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Washington DC. The GRC Journey Awards recognize individuals, customers, and partners who are leading their organization's GRC Journey, championing GRC programs, and achieving superior business performance with GRC.
Presenting the awards were MetricStream CEO, Shellye Archambeau, and MetricStream Executive Chairman, Gunjan Sinha. A total of 17 awards were given to honor the efforts and achievements of MetricStream customers, individual customer stakeholders, and partners.
The following awards were presented at the ceremony:
Customer Awards: The first set of awards were the GRC Journey Awards, which recognize customer organizations that have made exceptional progress along their GRC Journey by developing an effective GRC plan, a powerful GRC program with comprehensive breadth and scope, and a robust mechanism to adopt their GRC program internally. The winners were awarded in two distinct segments:
- Enterprise Customer GRC Journey Award Winner: A leading multi-national banking and financial services company

The second set of awards within the customer category were the GRC Program Excellence Awards, which recognize customer organizations that have made remarkable strides towards the vision of Pervasive GRC by building an integrated, world-class GRC program that is adopted across the enterprise.

Individual Awards: The GRC Visionary Awards recognize individuals who have a passion for GRC, a strong vision for their organization's GRC Journey, and the perseverance to see it through. These individuals are also thought leaders, reputed in the industry for their knowledge and expertise. The winners in this category were:

Partner Awards
