Mr. Clement joined the MetricStream executive leadership team effective January 4, 2016, and brings over 25 years of experience, combining strategic and tactical financial management at both private venture-backed and publicly held companies. Mr. Clement is a trusted financial advisor and business partner, with decades of experience at leading organizations both domestically and abroad. Throughout his career, Mr. Clement has successfully implemented financing for venture-backed companies and also has extensive experience with large and small merger and acquisition transactions.
Most recently, Mr. Clement served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Atrenta, where he played a key role in their successful acquisition by Synopsys. Prior to Atrenta, he held the Senior Vice President, CFO and Controller titles at VeriSign, where he led growth through market expansion and acquisition. Mr. Clement has also held executive positions at MCI Telecommunications, Broad Point Communications, and Network Solutions. Mr. Clement began his career at Price Waterhouse as a financial advisor. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from George Washington University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
