Three Entrepreneurs Compete on National Radio Pitch Competition, Vying for America's Vote

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Nov. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us), powered by Sprint (www.Sprint.com), announced today the three new startups competing on this week's show. The three startups that pitched their business to the Dream Big America live listening audience this morning are Smart Shield, Therapals, and Neck Assist.

The spokesperson for each of these early-stage companies gave a two-minute pitch of their business concept to the national Dream Big America listening audience beginning at 9:10am ET. The Dream Big America show is broadcasted weekly on the Doug Stephan Good Day Show (www.DougStephan.com) and through a live audio stream on www.DreamBigAmerica.us. Audio recordings of the pitches can also be found on the Dream Big America website.

Smart Shield (www.SmartShields.com), based in Lorton, VA is a product invented by DeAndre McKenzie. Smart Shield provides specialized law enforcement windshields to combat police impersonation.

Therapals (www.Therapals.com) is a safe and secure social network and video-based activity center for children with special needs. This website was founded by Molie Verdier—an entrepreneur and mother of five based in Sidney, OH.

Neck Assist (www.NeckAssist.com) is an overhead device to take the stress and strain off your neck and head with back support for overhead working. Neck Assist was invented by Greg Ely from Pinellas Park, FL.

Following the show, listeners and supporters have the opportunity to vote for their favorite startup company by visiting the Dream Big America website or by texting 'DBA' to 612-223-DREAM (612-223-7326). The voting period ends Wednesday, November 26th at midnight Eastern Time. The startup that receives the highest number of votes will be announced during next Friday's show, and will advance to the Finals Round on November 28th to compete against the other weekly winners of November's competition.

Last week, 2N1 Power Plunger, presented by Founder and Inventor Franco Sapia, received the highest number of votes and will continue on to the Finals Round along with Stephanie Nickolich with Accessory Fanatic.
