Dream Big America Announces Three New Startup Contestants for January 23rd National Radio Show

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us), powered by Sprint (www.Sprint.com), announced the third set of January's contestants on this morning's national radio show. The three companies that presented on the show were Wistry, Shuvalot, and Gro With Me.

The spokesperson for each of these early-stage companies gave a two-minute pitch of their business concept to the national Dream Big America listening audience beginning at 9:10 a.m. ET. The Dream Big America show is broadcast weekly on the Doug Stephan Good Day Show (www.DougStephan.com) and through a live audio stream on www.DreamBigAmerica.us. Audio recordings of the pitches can also be found on the Dream Big America website.

Wistry (www.Wistry.com), based in Houston, Texas, was presented by co-founder Annette Zuanich. Wistry is a free online wish list and reminder service for couples that allows users to download gifts ideas to a custom dashboard.

Shuvalot (www.Shuvalot.com) is a snow-pusher with wheels, designed to make snow removal easier for homeowners. Shuvalot was presented by inventor Jeff Hermanson, and is based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Gro With Me (www.GroWithMe.com) is a children's clothing design company that produces apparel and accessories that are multi-functional and grow with the child. Teresa Bailey, the owner of the company, pitched Gro With Me on Dream Big America this morning. Gro With Me is based in Waldorf, Maryland.

"This week's presenters are passionate entrepreneurs following their dreams," said Doug Stephan, the show's host. "I'm inspired to see hard-working people in this country creating companies while balancing full-time jobs and families."

Following the show, listeners and supporters have the opportunity to vote for their favorite startup company by visiting the Dream Big America website, or by texting 'DBA' to 612-22-DREAM (612-223-7326). The voting period ends Wednesday, January 28th at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The startup that receives the highest number of votes will be announced at the beginning of next Friday's show, and will advance to the Finals Round on January 30th to compete against the other weekly winners of January's competition.

Last week's winner was Flipple, presented by inventor and owner, Linda Lewis. Flipple turns bottled water into a baby bottle or sippy bottle.
