DIVURGENT Taps Industry Leader to Head Clinical Transformation Practice

Solidifies position as leader in clinical transformation services

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., June 10, 2010 — DIVURGENT, a national healthcare consulting firm with offices in Dallas, Texas and Virginia Beach, Virginia, is pleased to announce that Mary Staley-Sirois has joined their team as a Principal with responsibility for leading their clinical transformation practice. Mrs. Staley-Sirois brings nearly 20 years of healthcare operational and strategic planning experience across a wide spectrum of provider environments. She has worked with large and small healthcare systems on the necessary planning for clinical transformation, quality improvement and patient safety based on best practice and evidence-based processes. As a physical therapist by clinical background, Mrs. Staley-Sirois partnered with DIVURGENT over the past year while serving in her role as president of Resurgence Consulting on projects focused on clinical transformation, meaningful use readiness aligned with electronic health record best practices, and medical home model strategies. For three years prior, Mrs. Staley-Sirois worked at Baylor Health Care System as the Vice President of Clinical Transformation, responsible for leading their clinical transformation efforts across 12 hospitals and 450 physician practices. Preceding her position at Baylor Health Care System, she served as Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of HIPAA and Compliance services at HealthLink. Mrs. Staley-Sirois is well-versed on HIPAA compliance and is an accomplished public speaker on the subjects of clinical transformation, healthcare operations, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. As the Principal responsible for the clinical transformation practice, Mrs. Staley-Sirois will focus on the alignment and hardwiring of clinical and business benefits opportunities with improving quality of care in healthcare.
