About the Author
Dernice "Dee" Bailey Samuel, poet/psalmist, lives in Southern California, and is surrounded by the love of her four wonderful sons, one daughter-in-law, one grandson, and two sisters. She has a long-standing career with the largest law enforcement agency in the nation, with a background in budget and fiscal management. She teaches an adult Sunday school class, serves as a greeter, and is on the Trustee Board of her church. She is known as a Psalmist because of her beautiful poetry that she so eloquently presents during her live dynamic recitations, as she captures the minds and hearts of her audiences.
