Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer Raises More than $63,000 at the 2nd Annual Dream BIG Luncheon

Event proceeds will benefit the organization and its goal to raise awareness and advance funding for stomach cancer.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer (DDF), a non-profit organization that raises awareness and funds for stomach cancer, hosted its 2nd Annual Dream BIG Luncheon on Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Bonaventure Resort & Spa in Weston, Florida. With more than 270 registered guests, the event raised over $63,000 to fund research and benefit stomach cancer patients around the world. The money raised at the Luncheon will help Debbie's Dream Foundation achieve its mission of funding research. Since 2013, DDF has allocated $650,000 in grant funding.

The luncheon featured a silent auction and seated lunch in honor of DDF President and Founder Debbie Zelman's 49th birthday. Auction items included priceless experiences, jewelry, fine dining, vacations, and travel. Local 10 News WPLG reporter Shyann Malone was Mistress of Ceremonies, and Linda Gendler and Sabrina Kurzman were the Co-Chairs for the second year in a row.
